ourselves on the genuine care, concern and commitment
that we apply to every family law problem.
When searching for a family law attorney to represent you and the unique aspects of your case, you must ensure yourself that the firm and your lawyer are the right fit for your situation. People are rarely prepared for all aspects involved in a divorce or other family law matter…from the emotional upheaval to the legal complexities to the financial stress, divorce is a complicated and taxing situation.
That is why finding a firm that possesses all of the resources necessary to help you navigate the turbulent waters and stormy seas that lie ahead is first, and often, the most important decision you will make in the process.
At our firm, we prioritize empathy over aggression, viewing each client as a person, not just a case file. Our attorneys blend profound legal expertise and ample resources with an unwavering dedication to superior client service. We are committed to seeking comprehensive solutions to our clients’ challenges.
Unlike typical family law firms that often rely on aggressive litigation tactics, we stand apart by emphasizing collaboration and dialogue. Our approach aims to achieve fair outcomes for all parties involved in various family law matters across Broward, Miami-Dade Counties, and Boca Raton.
We are a Law Firm Concentrating solely on Family Law and Focusing on Your Family.
Countless firms practice family law in South Florida and, indeed the attorneys in these firms, by and large, know the law. Finding the law firm and attorney who is right for you is not as easy. Rather, we take a holistic approach to the family as a whole. The ripples that start at the beginning of a family law case continue to expand long after the lawyers are gone.
It is with that understanding of the whole person and the entire situation that our firm listens to what you really want, and we use our professional and personal skills to help guide you to the finish with what you need. Our attorneys provide practical advice to guide you to your goals. All this is done in the most expeditious and cost effective manner available. With this in mind, we are firmly committed to keeping you informed and up-to-date, which is why your phone calls are promptly returned, emails are answered and all aspects of your case are fully explained in plain English, not “legalese.”

Cindy S. Vova, a South Florida native, began practicing law in 1984, following receipt of her Doctor of Law degree from Emory University and her admission to both the Florida and Georgia bars the same year.
After practicing with several prestigious South Florida law firms, Ms. Vova founded the Law Offices of Cindy S. Vova in 1992 with the two-fold objective:
- Providing superior representation to her clients, and
- Delivering the personal attention that each client deserves.
She concentrates her practice on divorce and family law issues, with a special emphasis on prenuptial agreements, complex divorces involving high net worth individuals, children’s issues and same sex marriages.
Ms. Vova brings compassionate dedication to all of her clients, regardless of the “size” of the case and provides dignity to the divorce and family law process.
Her greatest passion is encouraging her clients to “take the high road,” particularly when children are involved. She understanding that once the case is over, the parties must still co-parent, and the less adversity that attorneys bring to the process, the greater the chance that children will still enjoy the love and devotion of both parents without having to chose.
Ms. Vova has lectured to other professionals and to law students on various aspects of family law, and she has spoken on topics ranging from domestic violence to the financial aspects of divorce. She has also authored several articles on family law, and frequently blogs about new law and family law trends, including pets in divorce.
As her passion is children, she is often appointed by judges to serve as a guardian ad litem in contested custody cases.
Married for over three decades (to the same man), Ms. Vova is also the mother of two adult children and one very frisky and adorable Maltese dog.
